Continuing its celebration to commemorate 100 years of Disney Studios, actress Halle Bailey along with the production company’s official profiles released an unreleased teaser trailer on February 15 for the live-action of one of the most beloved princesses, Ariel.
“The Little Mermaid” opens on May 26 and will bring the adventure of the friendly, dreamy mermaid, who is curious about the world of humans and switches from underwater life to living on land. In the trailer, titled “Wish,” we get to see a bit more of the underwater setting, interaction with some sea animals, more mermaids, and finally a glimpse of Melissa McCarty as the villainous Ursula.

“Very happy to continue in Disney’s 100-year celebration as this new trailer for The Little Mermaid. Only 100 days to hit theaters!”
The cast will still feature Awkafina as the voice of the friendly seagull; Jacob Tremblay as the voice of Ariel’s adventure partner, the Flounder; Javier Barden as the Triton King; Daveed Diggs as Sebastian and Jonan Hauer King as Prince Eric. In addition to featuring the classic songs and new compositions by Alan Menken, the composer of the animated film soundtrack.
