The former Chairman of Uttar Pradesh’s Shia Waqf Board, Wasim Rizvi has converted to Hinduism. He offered milk on the Shiva Linga in temple. The news took social media after the media coverage. He converted to Hinduism after long controversial statements and changing political scenario. He changed his religion in the presence of chief priest of Dasna Devi temple. He also performed yagna and changed his name after completing all the rituals. He always embraced Hinduism because of it faced challenges from his own community. Rizvi talked about it in the mainstream media and live interviews.

Wasim Rizvi’s name will be Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi. He will be part of the Tyagi community.

Wasim said that he chose December 6th to convert back into Hinduism because on this day, Babari Mosque was demolished by 1992. Rizvi believes that Sanatan Dharma is the purest religion in this world.
